Zoutelande is a small seaside village on the west coast of Walcheren, in Zeeland, between the larger resorts of Vlissingen and Domburg. The village sits behind a strip of high dunes that protect it from the North Sea, and the Duintop, the dune top, is the place where those dunes are at their most rewarding for visitors. A short walk from the village brings you to a lookout where the land drops away, the sea opens up and the long line of the Zeeland coast stretches in both directions.
