Zandvoort aan Zee Station is a terminal railway station located in Zandvoort, Netherlands, situated just 200 meters from the North Sea beach. Opened on June 3, 1881, it serves as the terminus for the Haarlem–Zandvoort railway line and is operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS). The station features two platforms and provides regular connections to major cities. The NS Sprinter 5400 connects Zandvoort to Amsterdam Centraal, while the Sprinter 15400 links it to Haarlem. Both services typically run every two hours, though frequencies increase during peak seasons.

For travelers, the station’s proximity to the beach makes it a convenient arrival point for seaside visitors. It is the only seaside resort in the Netherlands with a direct train connection from Amsterdam, with trains departing from Amsterdam Central Station twice an hour. During the summer months, services become more frequent, with trains leaving Haarlem Central Station every 15 minutes. The journey from Haarlem takes approximately 10 minutes, while the trip from Amsterdam Central Station lasts about 25 to 30 minutes.

Historically, the station served as a terminus for trains from Maastricht and Heerlen until 1995. During the Dutch Grand Prix at the nearby Circuit Zandvoort, NS operates special "Max Express" services with frequencies as high as every five minutes to accommodate the large influx of spectators. The station itself is a functional hub, providing essential information and ticketing services.
