CODA

CODA in Apeldoorn is a combined museum, library and archive, a modern cultural building close to the city centre that brings several functions together in one place. It opened in 2013 and has become one of the main cultural attractions of the city. CODA is a good addition to a visit to Apeldoorn alongside the royal heritage. Paleis Het Loo, the former royal residence, is a short distance away and the best known sight of the city, and the other places in the area include the Julianatoren amusement park, the Apenheul primate park, the Theater & Congres Orpheus and the royal estates and woodland of the Veluwe. The old historic centre is small, and CODA gives a more contemporary counterpoint to the royal and natural sights.
