Cultura Nova

Cultura Nova is Heerlen’s flagship cultural festival, transforming the city and the wider Parkstad region into a vibrant stage for the arts each late summer. First launched in 1991, the festival has grown into the largest of its kind in Limburg, attracting both national and international artists alongside local talent. Over ten days, Cultura Nova offers a dynamic program that spans theater, dance, music, visual arts, film, and circus, with performances taking place in theaters, museums, public squares, and unexpected urban spaces throughout Heerlen.
